On the afternoon of August 14, the Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV) held a ceremony to award the contract for the construction and installation of equipment for the T3 Tan Son Nhat terminal to the contractor to start construction in August 2023.

The construction project of passenger terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat airport includes 3 main items: passenger terminal, high-rise garage combining non-aviation services and viaduct system in front of the terminal.
Previously, in December 2022, ACV started the bidding package No. 11 – demolition, ground foundation, pile foundation, basement floor. Currently, this bidding package has reached more than 96% of the contract value.
Package 12 “Construction and installation of equipment for passenger terminal T3” under the construction project of passenger terminal T3 – Tan Son Nhat International Airport was awarded the contract to the contractor by ACV on the afternoon of 14th August, 2023.It is the largest bidding package of the project with the winning price of more than 9,034 billion VND. The construction progress of this package is 600 days from the effective date of the contract.
Passenger terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat airport has a scale of 1 basement and 4 floors with a total construction floor area of 112,500m2; designed into 2 separate departure and arrival levels.
By design, T3 terminal has 90 traditional check-in counters, 42 check-in kiosks, 25 passenger security control gates, 6 baggage handling islands and 10 baggage return islands. arrive. Out of the terminal’s 27 exits, 13 are telescopic doors and 14 are bus doors.
Once completed, T3 passenger terminal will be one of the important works to increase the capacity of Tan Son Nhat airport to 50 million passengers/year.
As planned, ACV will kick off the construction and installation of equipment for passenger terminal T3 at Tan Son Nhat airport in August 2023.
